Senior Research Associate in the Research Unit Global Issues at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs, in Berlin (tenure) and Associate Fellow in the Centre for the Study of Globalisation and Regionalisation at the University of Warwick (UK) since August 2000. Member of the board of scientific advisors of the German Association for Asian Affairs (Germany).
