Following a career in the Diplomatic Service, including as European advisor to President Mitterrand during the Maastricht treaty negotiations, Sophie-Caroline de Margerie joined the Conseil d'Etat, both the highest administrative court in France and the Government's legal advisor.
She is member of Notre Europe's Board of Directors.
