Maria holds a Master in European Affairs Science from the Paris Institute of Political Studies ('Sciences-Po'). She joined Notre Europe in December 2008 to monitor the European elections and follow-up the Institutional debates.

She has worked for the Rafael Campalans Foundation (Barcelona) as coordinator for the programme Europe.

Maria is of Argentine origin.
