Yves Bertoncini
Yves Bertoncini teaches courses on European issues at the Institut d'Études Politiques (IEP) in Paris, the Corps des Mines and the École Nationale d'Administration (ENA). A graduate of IEP Grenoble and of Collège d'Europe in Bruges, he also studied at IEP Paris and at the University of California, Berkeley. He is Administrator of the European Commission (on personal leave) and currently works at the Centre d'analyse stratégique (Paris) He is Secretary General of Europanova.

Yves Bertoncini has published several works on policy analysis in relation to European construction: an essay on the democratization of the EU (« Europe: the time of the Founding sons, » Michalon, 2005), three papers for the Robert Schuman Foundation's « Notes » Collection entitled: « The European Parliament: A challenge for France influence » (2004), « European Constitution : twice yes! » (2005) and « European Elections: the time for choices » (2009). He has conducted research on European economic and financial issues, notably publishing « The Lisbon Strategy: a European way in Globalisation » (CAS-Fondation Schuman, 2007) and a « Scoreboard of public spending in the EU and its Member States » (CAS, 2009), while serving as a General Rapporteur for the ministerial mission on « Europe in the global economy » chaired by Laurent Cohen- Tanugi. He also coordinated the formulation of a Ministerial « Report on the mobility of Young People in Europe » (La documentation française, 2008), co-directed the publication of a « Dictionnaire critique de l'Union européenne » (Armand Colin, 2008) and has published many articles and policy papers on Europe
