Christine Verger was adviser to then President of the European Commission Jacques Delors. She directed the Representation of the European Commission in France (1994 - 96), before acting as General Secretary of Notre Europe (1996 - 99) and General Secretary of the Party of European Socialists (1999 - 2004). She is currently Director of Relations with National Parliaments of European Parliament.
