Seminar "What citizen participation for EU integration? A proposed deliberative model"

Should the EU become a deliberative democracy? What are the criteria of success for useful transnational deliberations? Is it possible-and desirable"”to increase citizen participation in EU policy-making through deliberation? Can deliberation act as a genuine training tool for active citizenship?
These are some of the questions to be addressed by prominent political scientists, philosophers and educational scientists in an open seminar in Paris on Friday 7 March (in French and English).
