Notre Europe is pleased to invite you to the presentation of the conclusions of the seminar "The EU Budget: What For?", which will take place on:
Wednesday 4 July 2007 at 17.00 at the Committee of the Regions - rue Belliard 99-101 - 1040 Brussels - Room 53
Held on Thursday 19 April, this seminar brought together leading academics, policy researchers and representatives of EU institutions to discuss the role that a EU budget should ideally perform and the prospects for reforming the current EU budgetary system. As will be further detailed by Eulalia Rubio, research fellow, and Marjorie Jouen, external advisor of Notre Europe, the seminar revealed the existence of widely shared concerns, but also of marked disagreements with regard to various key questions at the centre of current debate on EU budget reform.
