On Thursday, 27 October, Jacques Delors awarded in Berlin the Theodor-Wanner-Award by the Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen) for his engagement in favor of the dialog of civilizations. Laudatio was pronounced by Mr. Hans Dietrich Genscher, Former German Federal Foreign Affairs Minister.
