In an article today, Le Figaro draws our attention to a CSA poll indicating that 71% of French people are proud of their European identity.

The article emphasises that a proud European identity is not incompatible with a proud French one. On the contrary: the strong European pride highlighted by the survey co-exists with an even stronger French national pride — 91% of the French say that they are "proud to be French".
