It with great sadness that we have learned of the death this weekend of one of ECFR’s founding members, Tommaso Padoa-Schioppa.

To commemorate his life and his achievements, we have decided to open a special page on our website for tributes and we will be organising an event on the future of the euro in his honour in Rome in early 2011. You can find that page here .
